Welcome to the Kitchen

Over and over I hear the same thing: “I’m too busy”. Too busy to eat breakfast, too busy to hang out, too busy to go to the gym, too busy to make dinner. I understand, time is valuable and how we choose to spend it is important. But I believe there is precious time in the kitchen, whether it is making dinner, baking cookies, or talking with friends while doing dishes. I believe that is time well spent. The kitchen is full of opportunity, creativity, and joy. As I step into my kitchen and put on my apron, I see adventure, new recipes, flavor, and diversity. My goal is to encourage you to value your time and spend it in the kitchen making dinner or your mother’s birthday cake. Your kitchen has so much to offer, there is beauty in the crying caused by chopping onions, the smile that comes with the freshly squeezed lemon, and the rumble from your stomach caused by the smell coming from oven.

You may look at a recipe and see complication, a million ingredients, and techniques you have never heard of. That’s what I am here for. Real recipes, simple technique, but incredible flavor. I want to be the person to guide you back into the kitchen, back to the home cooked meal, back away from being too busy.

What encouragement do you need? What scares you in the kitchen? How can I help you? What shall we make together?
